Originally from Vero Beach, FL, Attorney James R. Disinger completed his undergraduate studies with honors at Stetson University in Deland and received his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg.  Mr. Disinger was also awarded the Victor O. Wehle award for excellence in trial advocacy.

Mr. Disinger began his career in Vero Beach as an Assistant State Attorney in the 19th Judicial Circuit before moving to the 18th Judicial Circuit(Seminole County) Mr. Disinger was also an associate for the criminal defense firm of Kaufman, Englett and Lynd in Orlando.  Mr. Disinger has handled thousands of criminal cases as a misdemeanor, felony, and sex crimes prosecutor and as a criminal defense attorney, and also has represented clients in child custody proceedings, injunction hearings, bond hearings, and violation of probation cases.  Mr. Disinger is an accomplished trial attorney, both as a felony prosecutor and defense attorney, and has participated in over 60 criminal jury trials.
